The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department posted a photo of a gigantic redheaded centipede found on a broom to their Facebook page, much to the horror and delight of social media users.
It’s often said everything’s bigger in Texas, and apparently the state’s bugs are no exception.
A photo of a giant redheaded centipede was shared on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Facebook page.
It was found crawling on a broom in Garner State Park.
The creature can measure upto 8 inches from head to tail and in between has dozens of long, spindly legs.
This type of centipede preys on smaller insects, such as butterf
