LONDON: Muttahida Quami Movement leader Mr. Altaf Hussain said that Sindh province is on burning and the workers of MQM are being treated as ‘prisoners of war’ and Rangers has turned the the entire Sindh province into an occupied territory.
This he stated after his telephonic conversation with the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah over telephone during which the CM Sindh couldn’t understand Mr. Altaf Hussain due to his age factor. After that Mr. altaf Husain said that he telephoned Pakistan Peoples Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari many times on his two telephone numbers but regretted that both the phones were not attended by the former President of Pakistan.
He regretted the attitude of both the Chief Minister Sindh and PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari at this crucial point of time and added that it appears that both the leaders have no care and love for Sindh province and its people and they do not care for the future of the province and its people.
Elaboration the happening during his conversation with the CM Sind, Mr. Hussain said that he himself dialed the CM’s number from his direct numbers to apprise him about the Rangers atrocities on the innocent residents of Sindh province.
He said that the voice was not clear but when he dialed twice but instead of Qaim Ali Shah, his driver picked up the phone asked to hold on for a minute by saying that he is transferring the line to the CM and as usual I had to listen the recorded speeches of late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Late Ms. Benazir Bhutto over telephone for quite some time later the operation again came on the line and said that he will be dialing back in a couple of minutes.
But after a passage of over half an hour no response was given by the Chief Minister Sindh, on which mr. Hussain said that he decided to inform the permanent resident of Sindh and Urdu speaking Sindhis about the attitude of these leaders.
