Former Iowa State University scientist Dong-Pyou Han has been handed a 57-month prison sentence for falsifying research results.

Former Iowa State University scientist Dong-Pyou Han has been handed a 57-month prison sentence for falsifying research results. 
He has also been ordered to reimburse the National Institutes of Health, or NIH, for 7.2 million dollars of the grant money they gave him. 
Han was conducting trials of an HIV vaccine when it was discovered he was manipulating samples.
