The first teaser of Madhur Bhandarkar’s directorial venture Calendar Girls is out! The film’s story revolves around five super models –Nazneen, Mayuri, Nandita, Paroma and Sharon, whose lives change after they feature in one of the calendars!
Just like other movies of Mr. Bhandarkar, Heroine and Fashion that explore the dark side of glamour industry, this Bhandarkar film also delves deep into supermodel’s life! That’s right…in the teaser, you can see five supermodels, who rise to stardom and their aftermath with a tag line ‘Photographs are perfect because they are still but life doesn’t stand still’!
As the name suggests, the teaser is an intriguing and sensational piece and is quite interesting. Calendar Girls stars debutantes Avani Modi, Akanksha Puri, Ruhi Singh, Satarupa Pyne and Kyra Dutt in pivotal roles. Produced by Sangeeta Ahir’s Mangal Murti Films, the movie is slated for release on 7th August.
