Ecuador is busy getting ready for the visit of Pope Francis who will arrive on July 6. An estimated 1.5 million parishioners are expected to attend the open air mass in Quito. The pontiff's presence is also expected to attract 500,000 foreign tourists. Many entrepreneurs are taking advantage of the Pope's presence by selling a myriad of religious souvenirs with the Pontiff's image. After Ecuador, the Pope will visit Bolivia and then Paraguay, where he will meet with a local gay rights organization. teleSUR
