The Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, CA, has announced the winner of the World’s Ugliest Dog competition.
The 27th annual World’s Ugliest Dog competition was held at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, and after much anticipation, the final decision has been made.
The 2015 winner and ugliest dog title goes to Quasi Modo, a rescue who has a hunchback due to spinal birth defects.
The top dog was chosen based on the judges’ criteria of appearance, personality, and audience interaction.
The grand prize includes $1,500 in cash, various gifts, and appearances on television shows which, in the past, have included Good Morning America, the Today Show, and Jimmy Kimmel.
Owners and their pets even traveled to California from out of state to compete.
