Scientists have recently published a study about a new species called the Yeti Crab which survives in the near-freezing Antarctic waters by clustering around warm hydrothermal vents.

It’s hard to believe that animals can survive in the freezing cold water of the Antarctic, but scientists have recently written about a new species with an interesting survival mechanism.
The Yeti Crab (Kiwa tyleri) manages to thrive in the frigid Southern Ocean by gathering around the hydrothermal vents which are heated by the Earth's hot inteiror.
Though its range of motion is severely limited because it can’t stray too far from the heat source, it
