BORDERLANDS 2 KRIEG PSYCHO BANDIT DETAILS (Escapist News Now)
2K and Gearbox have release new details about the newest playable DLC character for Borderlands 2.
The sixth Vault Hunter to be released is named Krieg the Psycho Bandit. He isn't exactly the hero all of the other characters are and that is what makes him unique. He suffers from split personality, less Jekyll and Hyde and more Gollum, which makes for some hilarious dialogue.
His active ability is a buzz axe that he charges into combat with, which he can throw at enemies and accurately connecting a melee strike will refill his health meter completely. Which is handy if you have good aim, but is high risk, high reward because it could be fatal as his meter has a long recharge time.
His three skill trees are Bloodlust, Mania, and Hellborn. The Hellborn tree has abilities that will engulf Krieg in different elemental effects, starting with fire. He has reduced damaged while activated and can do cool things like spew fire and shoot fireballs. Bloodlust is more focused on weapons and Mania sounds all out ridiculous. It includes a skill level that can turn Krieg into a Badass Psycho dealing tons of damage and can be chained as long as health levels are low.
You'll be able to try him for yourself starting May 14th on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Mac for $10.
