Nicki Minaj Grammy Awards 2012 Red Carpet Pope Versace Cape

We are chatting about all of the craziest looks on the red carpet this year and of course it wouldn't be wild without none other than Nicki Minaj.
And while other stars played it safe, dressing a little more Hollywood glam this year, Nicki stepped out on the carpet in a scarlet cape by Versace, but with a bishop on her arm.
Nicki did anything but play the safe card on the carpet and played up a costumey religion theme for the 2012 Grammys. And even though it was a while, we couldn't expect much less from the Super Bass star. Her cape was definitely beautiful and unique with intricate black beading and obviously so, it was made by Versace.
Despite the crazy outfit, Nikki's makeup was simprisingly simple with winged eye liner, no eye shadow and a nude lip. Her hair was down and platinum blonde with lose curls.
And as far as accessories go, Nicki didn't need much of anything with the black beading detail and the pope, so all you could really see with this ensemble were her matching red gloves.
