Computer scientists have developed an algorithm that they believe quantifies the elements of creativity and originality in art; one of the top scoring paintings in their assessment is Edvard Munch’s iconic ‘Scream.’
The creativity of many of the world’s paintings has been computer analyzed and ranked.
Among the most highly rated of the 62,000 that were assessed are Edvard Munch's famous painting Scream and Roy Lichtenstein’s Yellow Still Life, and at the bottom are works by Rodin and Ingres.
