Wii U PRICE DROP, 2DS REVEALED (Escapist News Now)
drop the Wii U down to $299.99. You can get a limited edition Wii U bundle with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD on September 20th.
It includes the black deluxe Wii U, a gamepad controller with gold letter, a gold Hyrule crest and gold symbols from the game. Plus there is a download code for the digital version of Hyrule Historia about the chronology of the series and along with Zelda artwork, and of course a code for the game that you can redeem immediately. The retail disc copy of Wind Waker arrives on October 4th for $49.99.
Nintendo also revealed the new handheld 2DS. It's $129.99, only $40 cheaper than the 3DS. However, it plays all 3DS and DS games and launches on October 12th, the same day as Pokemon X and Y. Oh and it comes in either blue or red.
New games coming out for both systems including Wii Party U, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Party: Island Tour, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and a bunch of 3rd party titles including Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Sonic Lost World, and more.
