We all knew Katy Perry was never one to conform, but who knew she prefers the style of Judy Jetson and Wonder Woman when she decides what to wear!
Perry dishes to People that she'd rather quote "take chances and have fun and truly live. Sometimes that means wearing some ridiculous, cat-inspired outfit rather than whatever happens to be in this season."
Combining vintage silhouettes with eccentric accessories is one of the mega-stars specialties and in full wonder woman fashion, she prefers to make her style choices based on personal strength and the ability to evolve.
Katy grew up within limited means, enabling here her own quirky style while scouring garage sales with her father!
And with the topic of bullying at the forefront of all of our minds, People magazine asked Perry about the teasing she received from dressing different from the other girls and she responded saying, "I stopped focusing on what other people think a while ago. If you try to be everything to every you'll only end up completely confused."
And confused is not a word to describe Perry—she is fully embracing her new found singleness with great class and moving forward with her artistic genius.
And her style, Retro-chic with out-of-this-world vision? Not a problem for Perry. "I'm still doing the pinup thing, but now when I do it, I want to be the pinup of the future, like Rachael in Blade Runner."
