Tyra Banks reveals that if she we're trying her luck at modeling these days—there is no way she would have ever made it because of her weight!

When Banks broke onto the scene back in 1991 she landed a record breaking 25 shows and was a size four—but now, Tyra says models are expected to be a size zero.

But Banks goes on in a letter she published in the Daily Beast to tell the modeling community just how proud she is of Vogue for taking a stand.

Vogue just recently declared they would no longer accept models under the age of 16 or that appear to have an eating disorder and the Next Top Model Mogul couldn't be happier.

She says quote, "At times, I feel there's an unspoken rule that says, 'there's no such thing as being too thing, as long as you don't pass out'... With Vogue's new mandates, things, I hope, will now change for the better."

Tyra inspires women of the modeling industry and women all over the world to really embrace who you are—because it was staying true to who Tyra was that got her to where she is today.

Banks was the first African American women to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated, GQ, and Victoria's Secret, and now has a fashion empire that few can even begin to compete with.

But, getting vulnerable Tyra said, "The truth is that if I was just starting to model at age 17 in 2012, I could not have had the career that I did. I would've been considered too heavy."

This is a wild thought—a modeling industry without Tyra, but this is her call to change the way we look at sample sizes and weight and start to embrace what she calls our "Flawsomes."
