XBOX ONE TWITCH STREAMING DELAYED (Escapist News Now)
Microsoft has pulled the Twitch live streaming functionality from their upcoming console and has not given a date when it will be live. They have said sometime early next year, given themselves a hard deadline of March 11, 2014, which coincidentally is the launch date of Titanfall.
A Microsoft statement said they are working to, "ensure the initial Twitch on Xbox One broadcasting experience meets the expectations of the Twitch Community."
They also detailed the new Upload Studio feature. You'll be able to upload gameplay clips into SkyDrive, Microsoft's cloud storage app. You can access the files from your tablet, smartphone, or PC and then edit them as you see fit or share them directly onto social media.
Once the Twitch streaming does launch it will have 10 media achievements attached like the Hipster which is an achievement for watching one hour of live video with less than 10 viewers, or Around the Clock which is watching one minute of live video each hour for a full day.
