LEGO THE HOBBIT CONFIRMED 2014 (Escapist News Now)
LEGO: The Hobbit has been officially confirmed. Starting in 2014, players will follow Bilbo Baggins from the beginning of the first movie, An Unexpected Journey, as he joins with Gandalf and Thorin Oakenshield's band of dwarves on their journey to reclaim Erebor. On your way to the Lonely Mountain, there will be encounters with trolls, orcs, and of course Gollum.
The game will feature events from the first two movies, complete with dialogue straight from the feature films. It wouldn't be LEGO without puzzles to solve and humor sprinkled in. The press release stated, "players will utilize and combine the dwarves' unique abilities to solve the most diverse quests of any LEGO videogame to date."
The game will be coming to pretty much every platform out there, Xbox One, 360, PS3, PS4, Vita, Wii U, 3DS, and PC.
