More info: Want the details? Jen had a ton of bleeding. It was scary as she was home alone with her 4 year old son, who was very brave about it. Went to the local hospital, where they promptly transported via ambulance to a larger city hospital 1.5 hours away, mostly because it has a high level NICU. It was determined that she has a placental abrupt ion and her body started going into labor. Her husband, traveling for business, was not supposed to return home until that evening. Long story short, after many delayed flights, he got to the hospital at 4am the next morning, as labor had slowed. The medical team, mom, and dad are now trying to decide whether to induce labor or try to hold the baby in there as long as possible, keeping Jen in the hospital. Will update when there is time.
