The 38th round of peace talks between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) are currently underway in Havana, despite heightened tensions between the two sides in recent weeks. Both parties, however, have reaffirmed their commitment to the peace process. The current round of negotiations, slated to end June 27, will continue to center on victims of the civil war, the 4th point on the common agenda, and discussions will begin on the 5th and final point, the end of the conflict itself.
