Bara Bazaar is the heart of Aizawl. It is not only the biggest but also the most colourful market in Aizawl. The bazaar has everything from a huge vegetable market, meat shops, roadside shops that sell clothes and accessories and alot more. This is where you get to see the local people in their traditional wears. Exploring Bara Bazaar would definitely enrich your experience of Aizawl. A small section of the shop at the vegetable market is kept aside for selling traditional women wear Paun. It is where you get the best Paun. Bara Bazaar is crowded on most days but there's hardly any space to stand on Saturdays.
