This week host Cody Weddle interviews Venezuelan artist Patricia Rizzo, in the art gallery where she has worked for 30 years as a painter and art teacher. The figurative artist who has participated in numerous exhibitions and festivals talks about how she became an artist, her early studies, and her current work. She feels that there has been support from the governments of Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro for the arts, but that there is a need to promote the plastic arts, establish more art schools, discover new talent, and train and support young aspiring artists. teleSUR
