Allegedly from a movie called ‘Punk’ this non-stop rolling funker never lets up. Not sure if The Boys In The Band are the same that recorded for Spring, or if HerMone is Herman Griffin under another name or if one of The Boys was Bhen Lanzaroni who was part of The Brothers but this Ohio release defintely ranks as one of the best ‘underplayed’ funky soul bordering on disco things out there.
