Just under three months ago, the deadly Bardo museum attack in Tunis highlighted the presence of jihadist cells in Tunisia.
Thousands of Tunisians have already joined jihadists in Iraq and Syria. Some did so after being influenced by radical imams at home. Now Tunisian officials are actively monitoring what goes on inside mosques and are cracking down on hundreds of “rogue mosques”. Our team in Tunis went to investigate.
