Mumbai: The Shiv Sena and the state government are likely to settle on a plot near the Mayor's bungalow at Dadar for the location of a memorial in the memory of Sena supremo Bal Thackeray. The land is located opposite the Shivaji Park grounds, which have a historical connection with the Sena. Two sites have been chosen; one, on a plot near the Mayor's bungalow and second, on the plot of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) which is also close to the current memorial at Shivaji Park. The final decision is yet to be taken but most suitable site for memorial is on plot near Mayor's bungalow.
