As if the controversy in the film industry is not enough, the stars have more to handle now with the recent Maggi controversy.
Nestle’s Maggi ran into trouble when excess lead content was found in a particular batch. Though the company is taking measures to ensure the consumption is healthy, there are many who have accused the film stars who endorsed this brand of noodles which is actually a hazard to health.
Nestle understands this too and has promised to support all the celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Madhuri Dixit and not let them down.
Amitabh has good presence of mind and shrugged it off as a campaign that took place two years back and Madhuri has been forthright in saying that even she is shocked about the truth of Maggi.
Certainly they would not do anything that would spoil the health of the public.
