Follow the music, admire the art, place yourself inside historic architecture, in Telesur's "Cultura Latina". In this week's program, we begin by attending the concert put on by a band that began to make a name for itself in Ecuador in 2010, the Swing Original Monks. Their members come from Ecuador, Colombia, Europe and the United States, and host Mauricio Izquierdo talks to two of them about their free-form music that mixes different genres to create something original. Then it’s on to Argentina for an intense multi-sensory experience in a show called “Brute Force.” There’s no literary script, but the universal language of music, combined with video, acrobats, water, and storms of confetti and glitter, plunge the audience into scenes where lines between life and death change swiftly. teleSUR
