On 6 February 2015 on a parking lot in the city of Austin, Texas, a car exploded when a police officer tried to get his driver inside. Police responding to a call reporting a man with suicidal behavior. Once there, the wanted man tries to escape. Two policemen trying to stop him from returning to his car, but once inside, the individual uses a lighter to set themselves and a big explosion occurs then.
The man had placed gas cans in his vehicle and vapors triggered an explosion, sending onshore police. Suicidal attempts to stay in his car on fire, but finally escaped the blaze and falls, screaming in pain. He was hospitalized in the center of San Antonio and burned police officers were slightly injured. The scene was filmed by both dashcams patrol cars.
