ADNAN OKTAR: When I was a child, it was impossible for us to find books. Then I got my hands on a small booklet called The Book of Proverbs from the Torah and it has a language similar to that of the Qur’an. I liked it so much; I read it many times. It is not easy for ordinary people to reach an Islamic work. You can find one only very rarely. For example, you give them a book called The Danger of the Communist Kurdistan and the man reads this book, maybe three pages from that book, and he then becomes a learned person. He can talk about it in the cafe, on the street and everywhere. He understands half of it but he becomes an intellectual. He says, “I read and I research” and he becomes more enthusiastic and beneficial to others. Otherwise you cannot get anywhere with politics.
