The weekend box office numbers are in and it was a dominant performance for The Rock and his film SAN ANDREAS as the disaster film took the number 1 spot making $53.2 million for its opening weekend. In 2nd position is PITCH PERFECT 2 taking in another $14.3 million brining its 3 week total up to over $147 million. In 3rd spot is the George Clooney film TOMORROWLAND making $13.8 million bringing its 2 week total up to $63 million. in fourth spot is MAD MAX: FURY ROAD making $13.6 million to bring its 3 week total up to $116 million. And rounding out the top 5 is AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON making an additional $10 million to bring its 5 week total up to $427 million domestically and over $1.3 billion world wide.
