14 million tourists visit Korea each year. As tourists increase, so do tourism related problems. From unfair pricing and illegal touting to counterfeit goods and unlicensed accomodations, the wide range of complaints filed number about 60,000 a year… In response, the Seoul metropolitan government appointed the tourist police in 2013, to improve the situation for tourists.
