The Right to Know Right Now coalition is set to file a petition at the 16th Congress urging lawmakers to pass the freedom of information bill.
The coalition said some lawmakers as well as officials from the executive branch are blocking the passage of the bill.
Ang Kapatiran, PALEA, Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism and Juana Change movement are just some of the groups included in the coalition.
