One of the great saves of the season was spotted in the Japanese second division on Sunday.
Omiya Ardija beat Avispa Fukuoka 2-0 on home soil, and the hosts kept a clean sheet courtesy of a wonder-save from 30-year-old stopper Nobuhiro Kato.
In an tremendous display of improvisation and agility, Kato made a scorpion kick save on his goal-line when a shot was deflected from point blank range.
