Teresa Garcia Caturla . Cuban singer. Youngest daughter of the great Cuban composer Alejandro García Caturla . He began his musical life at an early age.
He was born on October 13 of 1937 in Remedios , former province of Las Villas . He began his musical life at a very young age, in the city where she was born. Later, he joined the Children's Band, under the baton of maestro Agustin Jimenez Crespo and studied at the Municipal Academy.
In 1958 he moved to Havana where she performed with "The Anacaonas". Later, in 1963 he joined the Cuarteto D'Aida as the fourth voice, with Omara Portuondo , Xiomara Valdés and Lilita Peñalver . With them I act in the cabaret Tropicana , Caribbean, Capri, Riviera, Parisien, in the main theaters of the country, and in stellar radio and television.

Teresa has a tremendous school: school of family, tradition and acquired genetic alongside great masters from Aida Diestro to Rubén González Fontanills . It has grace, tuning, exact phrasing, perfect diction, enviable sense of rhythm, timbre and versatility own, but most appreciated is the love and respect he professes the public.
Participates as a guest soloist in the CD project Buena Vista Social Club , Omara Portuondo and specifically with Ibrahim Ferrer . As well as CDs with Pío Leiva Thermidor.
