No one expected that the much-promoted first anniversary blowout of noon time show Wowowee in the PhilSports Arena (formerly ULTRA) would end tragically.
More than 70 died and more than 300 injured after impatient shoving brought down the gate of the ULTRA, leading to an avalanche of rushing feet. Joey Villarama of ABS-CBN reports live from the scene of the dubbed Wowowee stampede.
