In Colombia, supporters of the peace process currently underway in Havana, Cuba are concerned over the recent decision of the Revolutionary Armed Forces to suspend its unilateral indefinite ceasefire following a government military attack that left 26 rebels dead. The Broad Front for Peace had anticipated such a development if the government did not accept the rebel's proposal for a bilateral ceasefire. Furthermore, it reports that in the past four months, the government launched 56 military offensives against FARC units. Social organizations are calling for demonstrations in support of a bilateral ceasefire. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota. teleSUR
