2015-05-25 1

Family members of 16 of the 30 residents of Chilapa, Guerrero who were forcibly disappeared last week have given State Governor Rogelio Ortega a 48-hour ultimatum to find their missing relatives. State officials accuse drug cartels of being responsible for the forcible disappearances, but others attribute the responsibility to paramilitary groups operating in the area. The victims' relatives charge Ortega and the president of the state legislature with having links to the Los Ardillos drug cartel and claim that the police and army were involved in the disappearances. teleSUR
