AIB Knockout: Complaint Logded against Ranveer, Karan, Arjun, Deepika and 11 Others
The Pune police has registered an FIR against Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Arjun Kapoor and director Karan Johar for their participation in the AIB Knockout roast. The FIR accusses the stars and AIB team of indulging in obscene behaviour in a public place. The online video portal, Youtube, was also named in the FIR. Earlier, the Maharashtra government and Mumbai police had initiated separate investigations into allegations of "abusive and filthy" language used by Bollywood director Karan Johar and actors Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh at the event. The complain soon snowballed into a controversy and AIB had to pull down the video from Youtube. The comic group All India Bakchod also eventually issued a statement on the whole controversy and why they decided to take off the video.
