British veteran rockers The Rolling Stones have treated their fans to a surprise show in the US.
The last minute performance was announced via Twitter and the band’s website, which said only that a “Los Angeles Club Show” would be held in the 90028 postal code.

Tickets, costing around four euros, went on sale at lunchtime on Wednesday and sold out quickly.
There were also a few famous faces in the crowd at the 1,200 seat Fonda Theatre.
Band members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts used the gig as a warm up for a 15-city tour that kicks off on Sunday in San Diego.
The rockers apparently performed every song from their 1971 album “Sticky Fingers,” which is being re-released to tie-in with the tour.
