A luxury hotel has recently opened on the site of No Man’s Fort, an island-like structure built by the British government in the 1800s to defend against a French attack that never ended up happening.

An old British fort has been turned into a luxury hotel. 
The man-made structure off the English Channel boasts 75,000 square feet with 22 bedrooms and a maximum capacity of 200 visitors.
