Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa reported that his government hosted preliminary negotiations between Colombian authorities and the National Liberation Army (ELN), the country's second largest guerrilla organization. Correa did not release details of when and where the talks took place, but indicated that Quito would be willing to mediate in further negotiations. teleSUR
