Narendra Modi visits Daxingshan temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after visit to the Terracotta Army - Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum, paid his respects at the Daxingshan Temple in Xi’an. The Daxingshan Temple is a Buddhist temple believed to be build between 200-300 AD. Among the highlights in this temple is a row of 5 golden Buddhas, meant to signify the 5 directions - East, West, North, South and Center. Modi is on a three-day visit to China during which he will hold summit talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping on a range of issues.
