A deputy chief in Changhua County Taiwan, was accused of sexually assaulting a female officer while she was drunk last year. The deputy chief claimed that he was seduced, and the sexual intercourse was performed under consent. The female officer, however, proved that she had a girlfriend at the time, and that the deputy has apologized to her in a letter. She went through abortion immediately after the incident but eventually reported the case after the chief deputy's continued harassment.
If found guilty, the deputy chief could be dismissed from work, and possibly serve 4 years in prison.
