Farm Workers in the northwestern Mexican state of Baja California are finally due to have a meeting with federal and state government officials to discuss their demands for better wages and working conditions. The protests by day laborers, many of whom work for huge multinational agribusiness companies have been going on for two months. On Tuesday, a San Quintin judge imposed heavy bail conditions on three workers who were arrested on Saturday. Each will have to pay almost half a million dollars. teleSUR
