Fuel Zone clerk 'Mustafa' takes down armed criminal Jimmy Rogers in New Orleans

A New Orleans Fuel Zone gas station clerk named Mustafa gave an armed robber a serious whooping this past weekend, ending a 12-hour crime spree, according to a report by NOLA.com.

Tennessee-native Jimmy Rogers went on a robbing spree around the city that began Saturday night and continued well into Sunday morning.

Wielding a handgun, Rogers began by sticking up three pedestrians, the first of whom managed to escape.

His next two robberies were successful, but the career criminal managed to only net a paltry $40 and two cell phones.

No doubt hoping to hit the big time, he thought it might be a good idea to rob a Fuel Zone gas station at 4500 Chef Menteur Highway early Sunday morning.

Too bad for him, he messed with the wrong gas station clerk.

"Some of our customers asked, 'What'd he get?'" said store clerk Fern Jackson, according to the report. "What he got was an ass-whipping and a long jail sentence."

Security camera footage shows Rogers getting pwned by the clerk, Mustafa, who showcases what appear to be some Northwestern African self-defense techniques honed to perfection in his native Mauritania.

Rogers left the scene badly bruised, buck naked save for a neckbrace. He was safely placed behind bars in Orleans Parish.
