British fashion icon Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof died in her home on Monday. She was 25.

Peaches was the second daughter of music legend and philanthropist Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates. Bob was the lead singer of 70's Irish rock band the Boomtown Rats. He is the best known for organizing charity super-concert Live Aid to help relieve famine in Ethiopia in 1985.

The model and TV presenter demonstrated talent in fashion and writing from an early age. She wrote a socio-political column in the Daily Telegraph and a fashion column in Elle Girl until the magazine folded in 2005.

She was a regular at fashion shows and movie premieres, and was named #53 on FHM's 100 sexiest women in 2007.

She was married twice, once in a vegas wedding before she was 20 and then to musician Thomas Cohen, with whom she has two young boys, in the chapel her mother's wedding and funeral took place.

Geldof had reportedly been plagued by drugs for much of her life, an issue she spoke candidly about in 'Teenage Mind' a documentary she wrote and featured in. She has also said in various interviews that she had experienced drugs, but that she was "no Amy Winehouse."

The model was also infamously dropped by lingerie brand Ultimo in 2010 after she had nude photos leak online and drug-use allegations begin to pop up.

Her last tweet before she died was a picture of herself as a toddler with her mother, who died from drug overdose when Peaches was 11.

"She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," said her father Bob, in a heartbreaking statement released in response to her unexplained sudden death.

We here at TomoNews extend our deepest sympathies and support to Geldof and his family.
