To facilitate the ongoing peace talks underway in Havana, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos announced that the government would offer guarantees for travel to and from Cuba of leaders of the country's two rebel groups, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the National Liberation Army (ELN). Two FARC leaders currently in Havana participating in the talks will be returning to Colombia to assist the campaign to remove landmines from areas affected by the armed conflict. teleSUR
