First rule for all would-be carjackers: learn to drive a car! Yes--including those ones with those funny gear sticky thingy things.

Sebastian Fontana forgot to do his carjacking homework and it didn't turn out well for him on Saturday evening.

After forcing his way into a woman's car in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood in Atlanta, Mr Genius discovered the car was a manual.

Fumbling with the gearshift, he put his gun in his lap for a second, and the brave driver promptly snatched it out of his possession.

Now gun-less and immobile, carjacker-fail-dude then struggled with the woman, biting her twice.

She then, quite reasonably, used his own gun to shoot him.

Witnesses said he sounded like this as the cops arrested him: 'No, Ouch! Please! I'm hurt...don't make it worse. Ouch! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaa!'

Mr. Fontana survived his own idiocy and will soon face half a dozen charges meaning he'll have lots of time to study manual transmissions.
