Seminole County deputies Joseph Fetchick and Valencia LaRue lost their jobs for sexting each other and meeting for sex while on duty at Milwee Middle School in Florida.
According to an internal affairs investigation, Fetchick and LaRue sent each other 7,000 text messages between September and December last year. Most of the messages were sexually explicit. Among the ones suitable to reproduce here were sweet nothings including "I'm keeping your bed warm," and "I'm stopping by for a quickie!"
The messages detailed their affair and showed that they left their posts for sex several times while one or both were on duty. One of LaRue's colleges told the investigator that there was a 50/50 chance of reaching LaRue while on duty. The principal of Milwee Middle School said they sometimes couldn't reach Fetchick. Fetchick claimed he just went to lunch.
The text messages were discovered by Fetchick's estranged wife on her iPad -— after syncing it with Fetchick's phone. LaRue resigned and Fetchick was fired following the investigation on April.
Fetchick now wants his job back. The couple said the text messages were illegally intercepted by Fetchick's wife. LaRue and Fetchick said they're now in love, and they are planning to file a federal lawsuit.
