"How could anyone attack a child so brutally?" That's what the question the parents of Prince Joshua Avitto and Mikayla Capers, both 7 years old, want answered. They were brutally attacked with steak knives, and left for dead in an elevator in Brooklyn's Boulevard Homes housing project this past Sunday evening.

Brooklyn's 75th precinct got the word out about the killing and all kinds of tips started rolling in. Although the lack of security cameras was and is an ongoing issue, somehow the community and cops traced the crimes to 27 year old Daniel St Hubert who was only on parole for less than 2 weeks.

He fled to Jamaica Queens, but was apprehended immediately after the sketch was shown in a press conference on TV. Now St Hubert is being fingered for the stabbing murder of Tanya Grant-Copeland which took place near a rail yard off Stanley Av in Brooklyn. She was on her way from band practice when it happened.

To the parents of the victims, it gives some relief that the killer is off the streets, but it still doesn't answer why it happened.
