Looks like Phil Jackson, sorry, Derek Fisher, is set to become the next coach for the New York Knicks with a five year deal worth $25 million. Fisher has never coached in the NBA before, but hey, it's the Knicks.

The New York franchise decided went with Fisher after Steve Kerr, Phil's first choice, turned down the job to accept the coaching gig for Golden State instead.

Fisher's coming off an impressive finish to his playing career with the Thunder, but how will he handle the transition to NBA coach?

Fisher should have no problem working with Jackson as he's played under him, understands the triangle, and has won championships with Phil.

The problem for Fisher is that Phil will no doubt be a constant presence on the sidelines during games and in the locker room after them.

But if Fisher can just get Melo to stick around and J.R. Smith to stop messing with everyone's shoes the Knicks may have a shot. Yeah right — it's the Knicks.
