Here's a pooch that looks like someone had a fun time messing with Photoshop, but she's the real thing.
Born with a spine that was 7 inches too short, some fused together bones, and ribs that are more like half a rack rather than a full, 'Pig' looks like a furry pig-- which is how she got her name we guess. Her deformity means she can't turn her head, and hops and walks more like a rabbit or gorilla than a dog. Despite her looks, she isn't suffering any pain, and leads a pretty normal doggy life.
But that's not how it was when she was born. Owner Kim Dillenbeck found the sawed-off pup in the woods outside of Atlanta, abandoned and barking for help. Although the vets said she should be put down at first, Dillenbeck never gave up on her cute half-dog, and we're glad she didn't.
Pig is a big hit with both dog and humans alike, collecting fans everywhere she goes.
