A Victoria, Texas woman became the beneficiary of some sudden humanitarian aid from two local boys in blue.
Officers Bryan Knief and Anthony Vaccaro of the Victoria, Texas, police, were responding to a call at the home of a woman when both policemen noticed a distinct lack of food and supplies in the domicile while they were talking to her.
The two officers went back on patrol but couldn't let go of the fact there was no food in the woman's house, so they decided they had to do something about it, and headed to the local Walmart.
While they were in line with the groceries, Rebecca Vasquez asked them why they were shopping while in uniform. Once she found out, she took a photo of the two officers because she felt proud that her city's finest could go beyond the call of duty to help someone in need.
After she posted it to her Facebook page, it went viral, and was picked up by every TV station in and out of Texas.
We imagine the lady who was helped out, probably feels the exact same way as Vasquez does right now.
